"the journey is more important than the destination" I've followed this advice to its deepest meaning and crafted a trip without a destination, more than a round the world flight for no specific reason but to have the longest journey possible : 40'000+ miles in 20 days, 15 flights, 15 airports, 8 countries, 3,5+ days in a plane, all by myself... This blog was used as a repository to store what I've found along my route, while not looking for something and now to store my other trip reports

The first biz trip in ages - part 1

Fort the first time since... since when by the way... June 2011? I've had the opportunity to fly long haul Business Class. Nice to Bengaluru via Dubai.
The 777-300 is one of the largest NCE can handle, but the confort in this bird, especially in EK J class was simply awesome.
During the trip, I've realises that some people have found a way to raise crops in the desert elsewhere than in the US...

I took the opportunity of the DXB stopover to shoot some photospheres, like this gigantic arrival hall:

The second leg is very short, hardly the time to sleep that you arrive at the airport (which is conveniently located more than an hour driving away from downtown...).
A quick stop by the not-that-bad Novotel

then it was time to work like a dumb for a week...
